Kevin McGreevy
Partner
Clients instruct Kevin when questions arise that touch on both French and common-law jurisdictions. He has practiced law in France since 1994. During that time, he was in senior in-house counsel and executive roles, serving as EMEA General Counsel for two US Fortune 500 multinationals, and as General Counsel to a French public company that was also listed on NASDAQ. Since returning to private practice at the Paris Bar he has successfully advised French and foreign businesses and law firms.
Before moving to France he was an associate with a well-known UK firm before taking an in-house position that was to bring him to Paris via time spent in Pittsburgh.
In addition to being admitted as an Avocat à la Cour in France, Kevin is on the role of Solicitors of England & Wales and in Ireland.
Kevin is accredited as a mediator in both the UK (CEDR) and France (CMAP) and has been appointed to mediate in a number of cross channel disputes before the Paris commercial Court.
Kevin was appointed as the Honorary Consul of Ireland with responsibility for the south-west of France in January 2020.
Kevin has previously taught at the Paris Bar’s Law School and regularly provides continuing education to members of the French in-house counsel’s association (AFJE) as well as addressing bodies representing professional service advisers such as the PPA in London.
